Why the soap sweats?
One of the most frequently asked questions we receive about our soap base is why sometimes, the soap weeps or sweats.
One of the key ingredients of our soap-glycerin, is known to be beneficial for the skin. When you wash with glycerin soap, a thin layer of glycerin is left behind,which will then draw moisture from the air, onto your skin, thus moisturizing it more. That's the selling point of glycerine soap. Glycerin in soap attracts the moisture from the air which form on the surface of the soaps. It is not coming from inside the soap, but is moisture from the air being attracted by the glycerin in the soap. This also means the more humid the environment, the more glycerin will attract moisture on the surface of your soaps.
Fret not! soap sweat or glycerin dew doesn't affect the function and the effect of the soap. It just happens when your soap is in a humid environment. in fact it's doing the job it's intended, which is attracting moisture! :)

1. Due to oxidation, the essential oils used may eventually lose their scent and efficacy. For best results, it is recommended to use up the products within 3 months.
